Clovelly Golf Course
Nestled in the pristine and tranquil Silvermine Valley close to Fish Hoek in Cape Town lies Clovelly Country Club. This relatively short layout, built among sand dunes, rewards accuracy off the tee and provides players with scenic views of the False Bay coastline. It is known for its superb greens.
Atlantic Golf Course
Set against the backdrop of Table Mountain it is renowned both for its natural beauty and continental charm. Royal Cape Golf Course
Royal Cape Golf Club is a true championship course having hosted the South African Open no less than eleven times and the South African Amateur Championships eight times. The gracious colonial style of the main building has been retained and every need of the golfer is elegantly and comfortably catered for.
Erinvale Golf Course
Erinvale Golf Course is in Somerset West and is a Gary Player designed course and is considered one of the best in the Western Cape. Situated at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains, the views are spectacular with the beautiful False Bay and the Hottentots Holland mountain range in the east. The mountains protect the course from the wind. A scenic hilly second 9 compliments a flat challenging first nine.
Pearl Valley Golf Course
The masterplan was shaped by the vision of golf legend Jack Nicklaus and was named ‘best new golf course of the year’ by Golf Digest magazine in 2005 and in 2008 and is currently ranked the ‘5th best course in South Africa’ by Golf Digest. Every hole is played against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains surrounding the estate and all are challenging due to the strategically set bunkers and fast greens.
Arabella Country Club
Bordering the largest natural lagoon in South Africa, with the ninth, seventeenth, and eighteenth running parallel to the water, Arabella Country Club provides both a wonderful golf challenge and an eye-catching landscape. Designed by top local designer Pete Matkovich, the course has been ranked 100th in the world outside the US by Golf Digest USA.

Durban Country Club
A course steeped in tradition and history, the course boasts the unique claim of being the only course on the African continent to be rated in the Top 100 Golf Courses of the World by Golf Magazine USA. A combination of lush vegetation, sand dunes and stunning views of the Indian Ocean make this course very special.
Selborne Country Club
The golf course is a superb masterpiece affording golfers breathtaking scenery as they weave their way through manicured fairways and coastal forest. Created in 1985 when Denis Barker decided to turn his diary stud farm into a golf course.
Wild Coast Golf Course
The course is set against the background of the Indian Ocean, making it beautiful - but punishing for those that stray into the rough. The course isn't long, but it presents interesting and challenging changes in elevation, and while the fairways are wide, it is important not to stray from them at all
Zimbali Golf Estate
Zimbali is well known for its stunning 18-hole golf course. It offers a challenging round of golf of world-class standards and stunning views. The Zimbali Golf Coastal Resort Course varies -starting off with a coastal links feel; the course takes a dramatic turn through rough rolling wetlands and ends up in the Zimbali Coastal forest. The course is also a tough walk but fortunately golf carts are compulsory!
Umdoni Golf Course
Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Umdoni Park Golf Course is one of hidden treasures of the Golf coast, situated about an hours drive south of Durban. This 18-hole course situated on 200 hectares of indigenous coastal forest is renowned for its fauna and flora and magnificent vistas. A true pleasure to play.
Pinnacle Point Golf Estate
Pinnacle Point Golf Estate is located on the edge of a magnificent coast and situates at the Gate way to the Garden Route. Uniquely defined by two intimate, secluded beaches along four kilometers of spectacular coastline, Pinnacle Point is home to indigenous wildlife, birdlife and 264 varieties of fynbos - a nature lover's delight!
Simola Golf Estate
Keeping your head down at Simola can be a challenge; simply because the views around the course are awe-inspiring, and with this, it is clear to see why Simola takes its place as one of South Africa's premier golfing destinations. It's also the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course on the Garden Route, reflecting the maestro's philosophy of attuning the layout and design to the natural lie of the land.
Pezula Golf Estate
Pezula encompasses a world-class Championship Golf Course and lies high above the Indian Ocean and the vast Knysna lagoon - a sweeping spectacle of fairways and greens rolling through the pristine indigenous landscape. The course’s designers, Ron Fream and David Dale have compared the look of Pezula golf course to that of Gleneagles in the Scottish Highlands.
Fancourt Outiniqua Golf Course
This 18-hole parkland course took shape under master golfer Gary Player, world-class conditioning and a setting that takes in mountains, water and wildlife; there is nothing to beat a Fancourt round.
Houghton Golf Course
Houghton Golf Course hosted no fewer than eight South African Opens since the Second World War. The predominant grass is Kikuyu, which when closely mown provides a truly magnificent surface from which to play. Houghton is renowned for its conditioning a wealth of wonderful par-four holes.
Bryanston Golf Course
Bryanston Country Club presents an exacting challenge. Birdies are at a premium and hitting the fairways and the greens is an art to be mastered.
Royal Johannesburg Golf Course
Royal Johannesburg was initially known only as Johannesburg Golf Club. The club was granted the 'Royal' prefix by King George V in 1931, two years before a second 18-hole course - now the more famous East layout - was built alongside the existing West course.
Lost City Golf Course
The Lost City Golf Course is a unique experience and offers spectacular views across the bushveld. With its desert style design and the contrast between green fairways and the surrounding bush this is a course with great appeal. Also to be noted are the use of bunkers and extensive water-features - and at the 13th hole 38 crocodiles await.
Gary Player Golf Course
Gary Player Golf Course is ranked the best golf course in South Africa. It is acknowledged as a difficult and demanding course. Since 1981 it has been home to the Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Challenge. The course requires stamina and accuracy from players.
Leopard Creek Golf Course is situated on the border of the world-famous Kruger National Park which is home to Africa's "big five" - lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo and was designed to blend in with the natural contours of the area.
