A wonderful family destination which combines due to its central ocation with Victoria Falls, Zambia, South Africa and Namibia.  Best time to visit is the dry season which runs from April to October.  As much as anywhere else in the region, Botswana offers a range of Riding Safaris in and around the Okavango Delta.
